Pineapple Punch

Pineapple Punch
1 fresh pineapple
1 liter ginger ale (rum can also be added to taste)
1/4c lemon juice
1/2c boiling water 1/2c sugar mixed and cooled (use large measuring cup in microwave)
crushed ice
strawberries, fresh lavender or edible flowers for garnish
you will also need a food processor, large knife and large container.

Cut the top from pineapple and remove out side with pineapple slicer or large knife.  Remove all the little brown divots on the side of the fruit, it contains sharp stickers.  cut pine apple in half.  One half should be pureed in food processor the other chopped into bite size chunks. 
pour puree into large large container then add pineapple chunks.  Pour cooled sugar mixture with lemon into the punch mixture.  Now add ginger ale, crushed ice and rum if desired.  I served the punch with out alcohol and it was a big hit.  Slice fruit to hang over glass rim lavender and flowers can float on top.  Serve chilled

This can be served as a punch or in individual glasses and garnished with lavender fruit or flowers.
