Summer time is the perfect time to try something new. No mayo required. This slaw is perfect for outdoor events. You will need:
1 head of cabbage sliced thin or a bag of pre-cut slaw mix (Fresh Express Angel Hair)
1/2 cup of low salt soy sauce
1-2 TBS of fresh grated ginger
Mix the ginger and soy sauce in a measuring cup. Pour over cut cabbage mixture in a large bowl. Stir completely. Now transfer mixture to a gallon size zip-loc bag and store the fridge.
This is a perfect side dish for steak or fish and can be held for about three days.
