Apple Cider

Apple Cider is the perfect fall drink.  It just happens to be delicious and good for you.Through out the season I will be adding little cider recipes.  These are simple and easy.  I like to use the Schnucks brand, it is competitive priced and very high quality.  I love getting a good value for the money.   Culinaria is another brand I like to use, competing with boutique spice companies but at a fair and reasonable price. Culinaria  is also found at Schnucks.  Adams, the oldest spice company in the United States is another place to find a great value for the money.

You may also need a mulling spice bag, coffee filter with cooking string, or large tea ball.  For more fancy events a French press is good also.
Warm your cider on stove top in a pot to hold the quantity you choose.  Add mulling spice to spice bag, (about 2-4 TBS per gallon), cinch tie the spice bag opening. and place in pot to simmer.  Not only will you have a delightful drink but you will also have the aroma in your home.
